  • Online: Users sign in to Microsoft Online Subscription Program (MOSP) platform (replaces Live ID; includes Office 365 and Exchange Online)
  • On-premises: Users have an AD account (or other authentication with IFD); CRM does not manage passwords or authentication
  • User records: User information includes location, e-mail address, job title, manager
  • Permission: Users can update their own user record if granted permission
  • Teams: Can add to one or more teams
  • Other: Cannot delete user accounts, but can disable them. If disabling, consider reassigning records, updating workflows.
